Mission District
This neighborhood, south of Market Street has one of the oldest buildings in the City. Mission Dolores dates back to 1791. Take a self-guided tour of the Mission, located at 16th Street and Dolores. Open daily 9am-4pm. The Latinos of Mexico, Central America and South America comprise the Mission District of San Francisco.

The Mission neighborhood, south of Market Street along 24th Street reflects its Latino heritage through the large collections of colorful murals. Be sure to check out the Mural on 24th Street "Carnaval". There are also plenty of great Latino restaurants of every variety in this area of San Francisco.
