Location. Since opening its doors in 1913, the historic Hotel California has gracefully evolved into one of San Francisco's favorite theater row properties. The completely smoke free Hotel California was meticulously renovated in 2004 but retains turn of the century charm as evidenced by the original black and white checkerboard marble floors in the lobby.
