Travel across the Golden Gate Bridge and through the rugged coastal mountains. Enjoy magnificent views of San Francisco Bay and lush valleys, where the Coastal Miwok Indians once lived. First stop - Muir Woods National Monument, where ancient groves of giant Redwood Trees (Sequoia Sempreverins) tower over Redwood Creek. This is a 1 hour, 15 minute stop - the most time offered by any other tour company. The Muir Woods entrance fee is included. Next, visit the beautiful coastal town of Sausalito - a gorgeous Mediterranean-style village, with quaint shops, art galleries, and waterfront restaurants. This is a one-hour stop in Sausalito, but you may extend your stay in Sausalito and return by ferry to San Francisco (ferry cost not included).
PLUS - Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour to the Winchester Mystery House. See 'the gun that won the West' in the 'Fire Arms Museum', one of the largest Winchester rifle collections on the West Coast. Also see the 'Antique Products Museum', which has a rare collection of antique products once manufactured by the Winchester Products Company.
